Belting / Conveyor Surfaces

We offer multiple choices of belting with your custom made conveyor. Belting is included with your conveyor but we do not sell it individually. Belting comes in a wide range of types, with more options within each category.

Modular Belting

Modular Plastic Belting

A standard option. We use a modular plastic belt made of small links. This belting is good for solid products and food safe variants are available. They are heat resistant for high temperatures. Because of its design, this belt does not need tracking, and requires very little maintenance overall. It is easy to change or replace damaged sections of belting.

Flat Belted Belting Page

Flat Belting / PVC Belting

A popular choice for standard conveyance . These flat, PVC belt options hold products that could otherwise slip through belting links or slide around. Their high friction coefficient makes them good for helping products reach high speeds. They require tracking, but an optional rib on the underside of the belt help reduce tracking issues.

Slat Tab Chain

Tabletop / Slat Tab Chain

These connected tabs have excellent capabilities when it comes to working around curves. They are low friction which is ideal for smooth transference. Suitable for various industries. This type of belt requires little maintenance as no tensioning or tracking is required. This belt comes in plastic, stainless steel or metal. The tabs are easy to replace.

Large Cleat Belting

Urethane Belting

This type of belting is extremely durable, and FDA approved for food contact surfaces. This urethane belt example has large divider cleats and corrugated sidewalls to carry items up inclines, but urethane belting is available in other styles as well. These belts run with a tensionless design with teeth under the belt that allow sprockets to move it. See the Z Vertical Conveyor for an example in use.

Trough Conveyor Belting

Rubber Belting

This belting is rubber with reinforced fibers embedded in the belt. It is commonly used with Trough Conveyors. The rubber makes the belt exceptionally durable. Rubber belting is great for applications like aggregates and the recycling industry. The rubber belt can be configured with chevron cleats— as in the photo— or linear cleats with corrugated side walls.

Rubber Belting

180° Belt Conveyor

These European style belts have chain around the perimeter, creating a positive drive. The chain moves in guides made with ultra-slippery plastic allowing the belt to have little tension and reduce issues with tracking. These require little maintenance. They are very useful moving products in different directions while having full belt coverage, compared to a modular plastic belt that might let product fall through.

Rollers of Roller Conveyors

Rollers

Rollers are good for items that do not require delicate handling, like boxes or pallets. They can be individually replaced.

Wire Mesh

Wire mesh can handle difficult materials such as products that are hot, cold, or wet, and can handle spray downs.

Heavy Duty Belting on Drag Chain

Drag Chain

For heavy duty use. These conveyors use modified roller chain connected to cleats dragging over a slider bed. These designs are great for bulk materials in the recycling industry that have issues with material bridging in hoppers.

Pneumatic Surface

Pneumatic Air Cushion

Blowers create a cushion of air that materials hover on, like a puck on an air hockey table. This is good for small lightweight materials like caps & lids.

Hinge Pan Belting

Metal Hinge Pan

Heavy-duty belting meant for extreme environments, it is ideal for scrap handling or recycling facilities. There’s no risk of the belt tearing with metal hinge pan belting.

Cleats

Cleats are raised ledges on a belt which divide the belt into sections. They can be used to help materials up a slope or prevent them sliding down too quickly. They can also be used for functions like indexing and dividing materials.
